Treatment and Procedure

Our treatment focuses on the care of the musculoskeletal system, which includes bones, joints, muscles, ligaments, tendons, and nerves. Common conditions treated include fractures, dislocations, arthritis, and injuries to muscles and tendons. Treatment methods range from non-surgical options like physical therapy, medication, and lifestyle changes to surgical interventions such as joint replacement, arthroscopy, and fracture repair. The goal of orthopaedic treatment is to alleviate pain, restore function, and improve the patient's overall quality of life.

TKR is a surgery to replace a damaged knee joint with artificial parts. Steps: 1. Before Surgery: - Meet with our surgeon for evaluation. - Do exercises to strengthen your knee. 2. During Surgery - Remove damaged parts of the knee. - Insert metal and plastic parts to create a new joint. 3. After Surgery: - Stay in the hospital for a few days. - Take pain medications. - Start physical therapy right away. - Gradually return to normal activities over a few months. Benefits: - Reduces pain. - Improves knee movement. - Enhances quality of life. Total Knee Replacement helps people with severe knee pain or arthritis to move better and feel better.

Spine surgery is performed to address various conditions affecting the spine such as severe pain associated with the inner gel of the spinal disc , spaces with in the spine narrow, while loosing the flexibility and elasticity of the spine disc etc.

Discectomy: - Removal of a herniated or damaged disc to relieve pressure on spinal nerves. Laminectomy: - Removal of part of the vertebra called the lamina to relieve pressure on the spinal cord or nerves. Spinal Fusion: - Joining two or more vertebrae together to stabilize the spine and reduce pain. Vertebroplasty/Kyphoplasty: - Injection of bone cement into fractured vertebrae to stabilize the spine and reduce pain. Artificial Disc Replacement: - Replacement of a damaged disc with an artificial one to maintain spine movement and flexibility. Benefits: - Relief from chronic pain. - Improved mobility and function. - Enhanced quality of life. Recovery: - Recovery time varies based on the type of surgery and individual health. - Physical therapy is often recommended to restore strength and mobility. - Follow-up appointments are crucial for monitoring recovery. Spine surgery can significantly improve quality of life for those suffering from severe spinal conditions. Always consult with a specialist to understand the best treatment options for your specific condition.

Wrist surgery is performed to treat various conditions and injuries affecting the wrist, such as fractures, carpal tunnel syndrome, arthritis, and tendon injuries.

Foot and ankle surgery is performed to treat a variety of conditions and injuries affecting the foot and ankle, such as fractures, arthritis, tendonitis, bunions, and deformities. Common Types of Foot and Ankle Surgery: Bunion Surgery: - Correction of a bunion, which is a bony bump that forms on the joint at the base of the big toe, often involving removal of swollen tissue and realignment of the toe. Fracture Repair: - Surgical fixation of broken bones in the foot or ankle using screws, plates, or pins to stabilize the fracture and promote healing. Ankle Arthroscopy: - A minimally invasive procedure using a small camera (arthroscope) to diagnose and treat joint problems, such as removing loose fragments or repairing ligaments. Plantar Fascia Release: - Surgery to relieve tension in the plantar fascia, a thick band of tissue running across the bottom of the foot, often used to treat severe plantar fasciitis. Tendon Repair: - Repairing torn or damaged tendons in the foot or ankle, often necessary after acute injuries or chronic tendon conditions. Ankle Fusion: - Joining the bones in the ankle together to alleviate pain from severe arthritis by preventing movement in the affected joint. Hammer Toe Correction: - Surgical correction of a hammer toe, a deformity where the toe bends downwards at the middle joint. Flatfoot Reconstruction: - Surgery to correct flatfoot deformity by realigning bones and repairing or reconstructing tendons and ligaments.

ACL repairs or replaces a torn ACL in the knee, often needed due to sports injuries. The most common method is ACL reconstruction, where the damaged ligament is replaced with a graft from the patient’s body or a donor. ACL surgery is effective for regaining knee stability and getting back to normal activities. Services Offered: Orthopaedic Surgery: - Joint replacements (knee, hip, shoulder) - Arthroscopic surgeries - Ligament and tendon repairs - Spine surgeries - Hand and wrist surgeries - Foot and ankle surgeries

- Immediate fracture management and stabilization - Surgical repair of complex fractures - Pediatric fracture treatment - Bone grafting and reconstruction - Post-fracture rehabilitation

Hip replacement surgery replaces a damaged hip joint with an artificial one. This helps people with severe hip pain move better and feel more comfortable. After the surgery, you'll need to rest and do exercises to regain strength, but soon you'll be able to walk and play without pain.

We specialize in diagnosing and treating bone, joint, and muscle problems in children and teenagers. Arthroscopy is a minimally invasive surgery (keyhole surgery) used to diagnose and treat joint problems. A small camera, called an arthroscope, allows surgeons to see inside the joint and perform precise treatments. Commonly used for knees, shoulders, elbows, and ankles, this procedure involves small cuts, resulting in less pain, faster recovery, and minimal scarring. Our experienced surgeons use arthroscopy to fix issues like torn ligaments and cartilage damage, helping you get back to your normal activities with less pain and better joint function.

Open Reduction and Internal Fixation (ORIF) is a surgical procedure used to repair severe bone fractures. During ORIF, the surgeon first repositions the broken bone fragments into their normal alignment (open reduction). Then, metal plates, screws, or rods are used to hold the bones in place while they heal (internal fixation). This procedure ensures the bones heal correctly, restoring function and strength. ORIF is commonly used for fractures that cannot be treated with casting or splinting alone. Our skilled orthopaedic surgeons are dedicated to providing the best care to help you recover quickly and regain mobility.

CMR (Circular Modular Ring) with JESS (Joshi External Stabilization System) fixation is used to treat complex fractures and bone deformities. This advanced technique involves using modular rings and pins to stabilize the bone externally, promoting proper alignment and healing.

PFN surgery is used to treat fractures of the proximal femur, such as hip fractures. This procedure involves inserting a nail into the femur to stabilize the bone and allow for proper healing. It is a minimally invasive technique ( Keyhole) that promotes faster recovery and mobility

Bipolar hip replacement is a surgical procedure where a damaged hip joint is replaced with a two-part artificial joint. This helps reduce pain and improve mobility, particularly in elderly patients with hip fractures or severe arthritis

Hemi arthroplasty is a type of hip replacement surgery where only the head of the femur is replaced with an artificial component. This procedure is often used for elderly patients with hip fractures to relieve pain and restore function.

Nailing is a surgical technique used to treat long bone fractures. A metal rod, or nail, is inserted into the bone's marrow canal to stabilize the fracture and promote healing. This method is commonly used for fractures of the femur, tibia, and humerus

Treatment for cut injuries involves cleaning the wound, stopping the bleeding, and stitching the wound if necessary. Proper care and dressing of the wound are essential to prevent infection and promote healing.

Wound debridement is a procedure to remove dead, damaged, or infected tissue from a wound. This promotes faster and more effective healing by allowing healthy tissue to regenerate.

Trigger finger release is a surgical procedure to treat trigger finger, a condition where a finger gets stuck in a bent position. The surgery involves releasing the constricted tendon sheath to restore normal finger movement.

CTS surgery involves releasing the pressure on the median nerve in the wrist to alleviate symptoms like pain, numbness, and weakness in the hand. This is typically done through a small incision in the palm.

Meniscal repair is a surgical procedure to fix a torn meniscus in the knee. This minimally invasive surgery helps restore knee function and prevent further joint damage.

Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy involves injecting a concentration of the patient's own platelets into injured joints. This promotes healing and reduces pain by enhancing the body's natural repair processes. PRP is commonly used for osteoarthritis and other joint conditions. Our hospital provides these advanced procedures with a commitment to the highest standards of care, ensuring you receive the best treatment for your condition.
